I had a great week with C-MASTERS on my Day Skipper course. The instructor truly has an enormous amount of experience !  I have experienced a few other schools, but this was outstanding. The instructor has a great concept of teaching and I learned a lot during the past five days.

Nothing gets close to this RYA Training Centre

C-MASTERS is the absolute top for watersports training in the Netherlands !  I don't think that there is a comparable training centre for the Coastal Skipper course in the Netherlands. Their chief instructor is top notch and has loads of knowledge. I've done multiple trainings in the Netherlands, but nothing gets close to C-MASTERS.

Only 3 students on board and no sharing of cabins is just excellent

I chose C-MASTERS for my Day Skipper practicla course due to their small groups of participants. The no-sharing of cabins policy is unique. This way, I can enjoy my privacy in my cabin at night, and learn more efficiently as the instructor can dedicate the available time to the smaller group. The principal and his team are very friendly and accommodating. They are always willing to help, so do not hesitate to contact them if there is anything you need for your training. I'm very pleased with my experience at C-MASTERS and highly recommend it to anyone looking to become a Day Skipper.

So happy to have found this RYA school

The RYA training system is great. The school owner takes great case and does most of the shorebased training courses himself. I have completed the RYA Diesel Engine course so far, amd am doing the Yachtmaster shorebased theory course at the moment. I'm planing to build my practical skills with C-MASTERS too.

Great night time navigation training

I completed my RYA Day Skipper training with C-MASTERS in April. It was a fantastic 5 days of sailing in and around Zeeland while learning valueble skills. There were a few overnight stops and a great night navigation session as part of the course, which made it all the more enjoyable. My full compliments to the principal and the rest of the C-MASTERS team.

Lots of hands-on experience

I took the Start Yachting course at C-MASTERS in Nieuwpoort. The instructor is a great teacher who allows you to get hands-on experience immediately. He will teach you anything from theory to practical application. As part of the two-day course, we stayed on board on the yacht overnight and enjoyed our meals. I'm excited to learn more with C-MASTERS again.

Great experience 

My girlfriend and I both joined the RYA Competent Crew course at C-MASTERS. Great practical teaching and 'top tips' by our instructor on board of their training yacht. We explored the tidal waters, practiced passing locks and harbour manoeuvres at several marinas. It was a great experience all in all and lucky to have caught a sunny week in April.

They care about success of each student 

I have succesfully completed various courses and masterclasses at C-MASTERS RYA Training. The course content was always well structured, it was fun and I met nice people. The instructors had an extensive knowledge, cared about the success of each student and pushed us to be more than just exam ready.

I was able to extyremely improve my knowledge and skills during the trainings and will be able to use this for all my future rides.

Definitely recommended ! 

It is a great sailing school. As I live in belgium, it is difficult to find practical sailing courses in English and C-MASTERS (NL) is in very close proximity and close to the border. I was aware of the theoretical background from other courses, and I can confirm that instructors are great and shared lots of good practical tips & tricks in simplified and easy to remember ways. It was a great experience doing my 2 days practical course.

Very good sailing school. They offer 3:1 courses (1 instructor and 3 participants). I did my Competent Crew training. The instructor was really good, the boat in very good condition. I've learned a ton and it was a lot of fun.

A fully immersive experience 

The C-MASTERS center was recommended to me as the best one in the Netherlands. After completing the Competent Crew course week, I would definitely confirm that they are on top of their game. C-MASTERS offers a well-structured teaching approach and motivated instructors.

Big thanks to C-MASTERS for organisation such a fantastic masterclass.

Having done several courses with C-Masters  before, I was sure the Advanced Navigation and Pilotage masterclass would be well-organized and effective. It made complex topics easy to understand and included great exercises. My favorite part was using bearings to find an unlit object in the dark night. I also have to say that the sailing area around Kats is perfect for advanced navigation courses.

Perfect sailing area

C-MASTERS is located in a perfect sailing area with tidal water, non-tidal water, bridges, locks. Every moment was a learning moment with theory and practice. I enjoyed it !

Small group of students, great sailing area

I'm very happy with the boat offering plenty of space per person. The area where we sailed offers lots of opportunities to practice and acquire all experiences. Good communication by the training centre when I booked the course and very clear joining instructions. The course was very much in line with my expectations.

I am completely satisfied with the structure and implementation of the course

I took part in the RYA Competent Crew course in August 2024 in Zeeland. There were 3 people on board. Me and one other participant took the Competent Crew course and one person took the Day Skipper course. This mix of participants was extremely useful for me so I could get insights of the Day Skipper tasks and exercises. In the end I learned more than expected. 

All employees at C-MASTERS are very professional. Everything was very well organised from the registration through the website until joining the crew at their centre in Zeeland. Our instructor was great in many ways.  Many thanks to the team off C-MASTERS. I am sure that I will take other classes with them and I hope to see them again.
