MASTERCLASS : Boat Maintenance, Winches and Ropes
Course content
The masterclass 'Boat Management' will help you to understand how to look after your winches and windlass. It also provides you with the skills to use the correct ropes, use the right knots and make your own splices.
Very often forgotten by boat owners or considered too complex, regular maintaining your winches and windlass is of hugh importance for safety on board. A failing winch is a serious danger for your crew working the sheets and halyards, with terrible injuries as a result. In addition, the cost of repair of winches can be excessive, and often unnecessary if you know how to check and maintain your winches and windlass.
This masterclass course allows you to start performing your own regular maintenance and increases safety on board.
