RYA Practical Sailing courses
C-MASTERS offers the full range of practical RYA sailing courses at its RYA Training Centres in Zeeland (South of the Netherlands) and in Nieuwpoort (in Belgium).
For beginners the RYA Start Yachting course gives a great taste of what sailing and cruising is all about. In order to embed your newly acquired skills and to become a knowledgeable active crew member the RYA Competent Crew Course is the perfect next step. During 5 days or divided over several weekends, you'll learn steering and sailing the yacht.
Once you have sailing experience then the next step is to attend a RYA Day Skipper Course. For the more experienced sailors we offer the RYA Coastal Skipper Course which gets you ready for coastal and offshore skippering and enjoying making longer day-time and night-time passages.
Exam preparation courses for the RYA Yachtmaster certificates of competence are available to coach you and prepare you for assessment by an independent RYA examiner.
Our philosophy is that sailing should be fun, enjoyable and above all safe!
Limited number of participants - LESS IS MORE
Our RYA courses have typically 3 participants on our yachts. Compared to many sailing schools, this is almost half the number of participants on a practical course. This means lots of hands-on time practicing boat handling and more time for our instructors to coach you on complex exercises.
For you this means almost double the amount of time and fun behind the wheel or at the chart table, getting your skills quicker and better developed.
No sharing of cabins on board - PRIVACY AND COMFORT
As we work with less participants, we can guarantee you your own cabin for a comfortable stay overnight on board.
