Thank you for your interest in our RYA practical motor cruising training activities and in our C-MASTERS training centre.
The prerequisites to join this course are as follows:
Previous experience required for Yachtmaster Offshore: 50 days sea time (5 as skipper), 2500 recorded miles and 5 passages over 60 miles (including 2 overnight and 2 as skipper).
Previous experience required for Yachtmaster Coastal: 30 days sea time (2 as skipper), 800 recorded miles and 12 night hours
Assumed knowledge: Your knowledge of navigation, radar, diesel engine and meteorology should be to the standard of RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore theory course.
You must hold a RYA recognised First Aid certificate and VHF GMDSS marine radio licence..
